In this summer mini-episode Buffy and Sally attended the United Stated of Women in DC a couple of weeks ago and had the chance to speak to some amazing women there. In this episode they interview Julie Hanna, the founder of Kiva, and Hannah Herbst, a 15 year-old rock-star scientist who is already kicking ass.


July 13, 2016: Valerie Jarrett

The Riveters are taking you inside the West Wing with six amazing interviews with badass women who are leading this country. Over the next few weeks you are going to hear from women who have defined the Obama administration, changed our lives for the better and inspired the one and only CJ Cregg. This week Sally and Buffy are launching the Women of the West Wing Series by interviewing Valerie Jarrett, senior advisor to the President of the United States.


July 20, 2016: Paulette Aniskoff

Buffy and Sally continue The Riveters’ “Women of the West Wing Series” with some practical advice on how to handle difficult work situations and an interview with Paulette Aniskoff, Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement.


July 27, 2016: Dee Dee Myers

Buffy Wicks records from the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia with returning guest Leanne Pittsford to talk about Hillary Clinton becoming to first female US Presidential nominee (hell yes). And Buffy sits down with Dee Dee Myers, President Clinton’s first press secretary, to talk about her time in the White House and how she inspired CJ Cregg’s character on the West Wing.


August 3, 2016: Jen Psaki

Buffy and Sally are now on opposite coasts, but catch up remotely about pregnancy jeans and feeling their feelings at the DNC. In the next part of our “Women of the West Wing” series Buffy sits down with Jen Psaki, the White House Communications Director, to talk about crafting President Obama’s message and raising her daughter.


August 10, 2016: Tina Tchen

Join Buffy and Sally as they discuss the Summer Olympics and all of the badass lady athletes showing the men how it’s done. Then Sally sits down with Tina Tchen, Michelle Obama’s chief of staff, to discuss strides in girls’ education and whether FLOTUS or POTUS is a better boss (and who cracks more jokes).

In the last installment of the Women of the West Wing series, Buffy and Sally recap their interviews with these badass women running the country and reflecting on the current Presidential election. In the final interview at the White House, Sally sits down with Cecilia Muñoz, Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council.
